Project & Event Work

Collaborative. Community-rooted. Creativity-driven. Purpose-packed.

I have worked and volunteered across Scotland with organisations and communities to contribute to, design, deliver, and support projects that center inclusion, heritage, and social impact. I’ve worked across facilitation, digital strategy, planning, and public storytelling,
Here’s a selection of the events, roles, and initiatives I’ve contributed to across Scotland and the UK.

The Young Women's Movement

Young Women Lead 2025 Cohort Member - Theme: AI

Mar 2025 – Present · Scotland-wide

Young Women Lead is a yearly programme that provides an opportunity to make real change in the lives of young women and girls, while developing leadership skills, knowledge and confidence. As a participant I'm developing my skills whilst focusing on the impact of AI on young women and girls in Scotland. During this project we developed a Guide to AI that provides practical knowledge and guidance about the impacts of AI on Young Women. I participated through writing and editing content, creating graphics and communications content, and by supporting the launch at an in-person event.

In Phase Two of this project we hosted a Gender & AI Conference in February 2026. This was organised by young women from Phase One and new members from a Glasgow High School. The event was planned by us with support form the Young Women's Movement and was a welcomed opportunity to explore the themes of our Guide to AI with more people. I particularly enjoyed co-chairing a panel during the event. Following the event I published an article exploring why (despite being open to all) no men attended our event. You can read that here.

Young Women Remember - Heritage Research Volunteer

Jun 2024 – Present · Scotland-wide

The Young Women Remember project aims to collect, record and share the stories of support, connection and activism linked to the Young Women's Movement over the past 100 years. As a Heritage Research Volunteer I'm supporting this mission by working with fellow volunteers to curate oral histories, written testimonies, video interviews, images and archival material into a 'living' digital archive. We are launching our Archive in late May 2026.

Previous Projects

UK-GERMANY Youth Summit

2026 · 1 of 35 representatives from the UK (out of over 1,300 applicants) · organised by British Council and IJAB - Fachstelle für Internationale Jugendarbeit der Bundesrepublik Deutschland e.V.

We joined 35 young people from across Germany to talk about all things Resilient Democracies. Across 4 very crazy days we created a vision board, explored Berlin, had over 12 hours of workshops and ended with presentations to public officials from both countries! No one will be surprised to know that the workshop I ended up in was all about Digital Literacy in the Age of AI. It was an intense time exploring misinformation and disinformation whilst trying to propose ways that young people (and society) can ensure their information systems are healthy.

Status of Young Women in Scotland Report – Peer Researcher

2025 · Scotland-wide

Contributed to The Young Women’s Movement’s 2025 Status of Young Women in Scotland report by conducting an interview as part of the research process. Attended the official report launch, where key findings and recommendations were shared with government and stakeholders. Proud to be listed in the contributors section and to have supported a project amplifying the lived experiences of young women across Scotland.

Young Women and Democracy Summit

2025 ·  Scottish Parliament · The Young Women's Network, Scottish Youth Parliament, ElectHER

On Friday 19th September, after six months of planning alongside a dedicated co-design group, we hosted this summit at Parliament that saw 100 young women from across Scotland gather to explore our current and future role democracy.

I was also honoured to speak on the opening panel about my relationship with democracy and journey as a volunteer and advocate. It was powerful to reflect on how our experiences can (and should) shape political spaces, and how vital it is that young women are seen, heard, and included in decision-making.

I’m so grateful to my fellow co-designers and all the amazing participants for making the day feel bold, hopeful, and unforgettable. This was not just an event it was a reminder that democracy is stronger when young women are at the heart of it. 💚

Faculty Officer Project – Postgraduate Pathways Week

2025 · University of Stirling

As part of my role as Postgraduate Taught Faculty Officer (Arts & Humanities), I led the development of Pathways Week. A careers and futures-focused initiative responding directly to feedback from postgrad students who felt uncertain about life after university.

Rather than a traditional careers fair, I curated a diverse programme of events including workshops with the Careers Service, Employer Engagement Team, and Enterprise Hub. The week encouraged students to explore next steps through goal-setting, informal networking, and creative sessions (including Lego and crafts!) — making future planning accessible, low-pressure, and student-led.
